Tennessee is my home!
I love everything about it.

I wanted to take a moment to tell you a little bit about myself and hope that I can earn your vote and your support.

I’ve been married for 30 years to my sweetheart, Charles.  We have 3 children, all boys and 2 grandchildren with another one due in two weeks.

Boy, do we love being grandparents!

I’m the proud daughter of two devout Republicans who were always politically active.  I was going door to door when I was in 2nd grade, campaigning with my dad.  My parents loved the Republican Party!

My parents were incredibly involved in many causes and raised my siblings and I to stand up for what is right, regardless of how difficult.  We were taught to take action when needed.

I remember, on my own accord, calling out a teacher when I was in the 4th grade.  I stayed after school and entered his classroom alone and proceeded to warn him, that if he did not stop abusing his daughter, who was my friend, I would report him to the Department of Human Services.  At a young age, I was not afraid to stand up for those who could not stand up for themselves.

In college, I volunteered at a rape crises center and later at an organization called, Child Help,USA where I babysat children who had been sexually abused while their parents were being interviewed by staff and law enforcement.

I have always been a defender of children and women.  I am the longest serving volunteer at CASA of East Tennessee.  CASA stands for Court Appointed Special Advocate which basically means, I have spent the last 20 years investigating cases of child endangerment, child abuse, truancy and more. I have seen awful things.  Sad things.  Things that we need to change.

Charles and I have owned restaurants throughout our marriage.  We have experienced the highs and lows of small business.  We have fought to hang onto the money we earn and struggled at times to make payroll and afford payroll taxes. We have worked so hard.  We were devastated like many businesses when Covid restrictions closed our doors.  We love our staff and our customers.

15 years ago I started a business called, The Etiquette Factory. It was born out of homeschooling our son.  When I was teaching him about our First President, George Washington, we learned that President Washington had studied chivalry and had credited that study for his ability to persuade people for good. What started as a project to teach my son chivalry, turned into a wonderful business that takes me around the country teaching adults and children the skills of etiquette.

Another great passion of mine is fighting to protect precious boys and girls living inside the womb.  The past 5 years I have served as a board member for  TN Right to Life Knox County.  I know that God has entrusted the care of his precious children to mothers for the first 9 months of their development because he knows and hopes that all mothers will keep those precious spirits safe during their first months of development.

Unfortunately, many men and women have forgotten this sacred responsibility.  I will never stop fighting for the most vulnerable citizens among us, both those inside the womb and those living
outside of the womb.

I know we want to like our elected officials and I know that it matters to us whether or not our elected officials are kind, honest, empathetic, hard workers, persuasive, diligent and the list goes on.

But, we need to also remember the importance of electing officials that will Fight Day and Night for the Values that we profess to believe.

We must become better informed voters!

We must make sure that those we elect will fight for us.

What will I do as your State Senator?

  1. I will remember that I am first, accountable to my Savior, Jesus Christ.
  2. I will remember that the divinely inspired Constitution of the US is the founding document that safeguards the Individual Liberties that you and I are endowed with by God.
  3. I will always fight to Protect life from Conception until the End of Life.
  4. I will fight for Parental Rights that are currently under severe attack.
  5. I will fight for Medical Freedom.
  6. I will fight for Universal School Choice without Government Infringement.
  7. I will fight to hold our federal officials accountable for refusing to protect our borders which has created chaos as American citizens are paying for the welfare of illegal immigrants.
  8. I will fight to protect our Religious Freedoms.
  9. I will strive to eliminate regulation on gun ownership and gun carry as this is our God Given Right protected by the US Constitution.
  10. I will fight against all regulation that stifles our economic growth and development.
  11. I will remember that I am a Republican and as such, I will honor the Republican Platform which I know to be good and true.
  12. I will support State Sovereignty to ensure that Tennessee is better prepared for Federal Government Overreach.

I hope to be knocking at your door in the coming weeks and months and meet you personally.  I commit that I will honor your support by measuring and weighing every piece of legislation that crosses my desk against our TN constitution and our US constitution.
