#1
A state that holds its federal government accountable for failing their duty in Article IV, Section 4 of the US Constitution which reads…The United States shall guarantee to every State in this Union a Republic Form of Government, and shall protect each of them against Invasion.  President Biden and Congress have failed to keep this Constitutional decree as they have left our national borders open to criminals, traffickers, enemy combatives and those who do not plan to obey American laws.

#2
A state that upholds Amendment I of the Bill of Rights, which reads, “Congress shall make no law prohibiting the free exercise (of religion)…or the right of the people peaceably to assemble.” And a state that upholds Section 3 of the TN Constitution, which reads, “that no human authority can, in any case whatever, control or interfere with the rights of conscience..”  During Covid, we witnessed our State Government overreach its authority by prohibiting these constitutionally protected rights.

#3
A state who’s State Constitution aligns with the Federal Constitution in regards to 2nd Amendment protections.  Our Federal Constitution declares, “…the right of the people to keep and bear Arms, shall not be infringed.”  Yet, our TN state constitution, Article I, Section 26 reads, “that the citizens of this State have a right to keep and to bear arms for their common defense: but the Legislature shall have power, by law, to regulate the wearing of arms with a view to prevent crime.”  The highlighted portion of the above section in our state constitution is in direct conflict with the US Constitution.

#4
A state who does not need to hold a special session to determine wether or not a red flag law is constitutional, as it already knows red flag laws violate the IV and V Amendment. Namely, “the right of the people to be secure in their persons, houses…against unreasonable seizures…shall not be violated” and “no person should be deprived of life, liberty or property without due process of law…

#5
A state that upholds the TN Constitution Section 22, that reads, “That perpetuities and Monopolies are contrary to the genius of a Free state, and shall not be allowed.  This is why it is time for TN to do away with the bureaucratic “Certificate of Need” permit program, which regulates the medical free market of TN.

#6
A state who’s Governor and legislature upholds the TN Constitution, Section 31 which reads, “The credit of this state shall not be hereafter loaned or given to or in aid of any person, association, company, corporation or municipality:” Recent examples of our state government violating this section is the 900 million dollars given to the private company known as Ford Motor Company as well as the 500 million dollars given to the private organization known as the NFL.

What would happen if the citizens of Tennessee read the
US and TN Constitution?

How can we know when a piece of legislation is
violating our constitutionally protected rights
if we do not know what the US and TN Constitution says?

Tennessee, it is up to us, the people to hold our elected officials accountable.  But we cannot do that if we do not know ourselves what our constitution says.  No, we do not have to be experts!
